City Real Estate Advisors Benefits for Full-Time Employees
City Real Estate Advisors continues our commitment to provide employees with the most comprehensive and cost effective benefits available. Employees who work thirty (30) hours or more per week are eligible to enroll in our benefits programs. Benefits are part of an overall compensation package. Our benefits package is reviewed periodically to ensure that it meets employees’ needs.
Health Insurance
Two health packages are offered to employees. Employees may elect to change their plan during open enrollment in fall of every year. The health package includes coverage for medical, dental and prescription services. Coverage for employees and eligible dependants is effective on the 91st day of employment.
Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield is our current underwriter for major medical and prescription coverage, and AlwaysCare Dental is our current underwriter for dental coverage.
401 (k) Plan
Employees are eligible to participate in the City Real Estate Advisors 401(k) savings after a 120 day waiting period, on the next plan entry date. Under this plan you may elect to have a percentage of your earnings contributed on a pre-tax basis. Your contributions and investment earnings will accumulate, tax-deferred, and will be available for your use at retirement. Rollovers from previous plan can be accepted at any time, and this plan has a loan provision. City Real Estate Advisors will match up to $1,000.00 of your contributions per calendar year.
Paid Time-Off (PTO)
Full-time employees are eligible for paid time off according to the following schedule:
1 – 4 years of employment: 15 days of PTO annually
5 – 11 years of employment: 20 days of PTO annually
12 + years of employment: 25 days of PTO annually

The following nine (9) days are paid holidays for City Real Estate Advisors employees:

Life and AD&D Insurance
Coverage for full-time employees is effective on the 91st day of employment; the entire premium is paid by the Firm. AUL is our current underwriter for $20,000 Life and $20,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Coverage for full-time employees is effective on the 91st day of employment; the entire premium is paid by the Firm. This program provides coverage of 60% of salary for disability exceeding ninety days.
Voluntary Life Insurance
Voluntary, portable universal life insurance at group rates, with a minimum guaranteed issue amount, is provided through Principal. Voluntary, portable term life insurance at group rates, with a minimum guaranteed issue amount, is provided through AUL. Full-time employees may purchase insurance after a ninety-day waiting period for themselves, spouse and children.
Supplemental Insurance
Other supplemental insurance options are available, such as short-term disability, additional long-term disability and additional AD&D.
Tuition Reimbursement
Full-time employees, who have worked at the Firm for at least one year, may be reimbursed up to $2,000 per year for post-secondary education that increases the skills of the employee and is beneficial to City Real Estate Advisors. The course and its relevance to the employees’ job must be approved prior to commencement of each course.
